Types of Teeth Whitening
At our dental practice, we try to make it easy, fun, and affordable for you to get the beautiful smile you’ve always wanted. Most patients prefer to do an in-office “power” bleach, then use custom teeth whitening trays at home in conjunction with this.
Having custom fitted trays allows for a more sustained bleaching that lasts longer, along with providing the patient the opportunity to do “touch-ups” later on. The entire procedure takes about one hour in the office, then approximately 30 minutes to one hour each day for three to 14 days depending on the desired whitening.
For those patients who prefer, or do not need the power bleaching, just custom whitening trays can be fabricated, and the patient can do the daily bleaching themselves. No matter what process you decide to do, the trays can be saved so that six months, a year, or two years later the patient can do a short three to five day “touch-up” bleaching to bring back their bright, beautiful smile.
